Three steps. Real fluency.
Learn
Bite-size lessons drilled into your day. Listen, translate, speak.
Duel
Match against another learner of your language. Best of 5, 15s per round.
Climb
Stack XP, win the week, advance leagues. Pride is the prize.
Built for learners who hate boring.
Streak that bites back
Miss a day and a streak freeze auto-saves your run. You keep two in reserve — Pro holds up to five.
Weekly leagues
Climb from Bronze to Diamond as you stack XP, then fight for the top of the weekly Arena board. Pressure makes diamonds.
Native pronunciation
We grade your accent, not just your spelling. Mic-powered drills for the sounds your language lacks.
Power-ups
Spend gems on Shield, Double XP and Hint, then equip up to three for your duels. Shield blocks a wrong answer, Hint greys out a dud, Double XP banks twice the win.
15 seconds.
One right answer.
Each round is a clean little battle of memory and speed. The combo meter rewards streaks. Equip power-ups to tip the odds — but in ranked duels only Double XP rides along, so every answer stays skill-only.
Hold a real conversation — out loud.
Beyond duels, Frayvio drops you into voice scenarios — order a coffee, ask for directions, make a new friend. Speak your reply, get understood, and a native-voice partner answers back. Finish the chat and bank the XP.
You speak
Tap, talk and answer out loud in your target language — no typing.
It listens
Speech recognition transcribes exactly what you said, accent and all.
It talks back
A native-voice partner replies in character and keeps the chat going.
Pick a fighter.
They battle as you learn.
Five elemental characters — each a fighting class with its own lore and a four-move kit. Answer right and your fighter’s ability fires. Miss, and you take the hit.
Ember
the Damage DealerEmber carries the first flame that was ever shared — teaching that true strength comes from both courage and caring for others.
Got it wrong?
Just ask why.
An AI tutor for the language you’re learning. Ask why a phrase works or what you got wrong, and it explains in plain language — in your native tongue, with examples.
See what you actually remember.
Frayvio’s spaced-repetition engine resurfaces words right before you’d forget them. Daily Review schedules every card by how well you actually recall it — not how many lessons you tapped through.
A language app that fights back.
Frayvio is in beta and free to play. 42 languages, real-time duels, and weekly leagues — built for people who learn faster when there's something on the line.
Competitive learners
If “5 minutes a day” hasn’t worked, the duel loop will. Rivalry beats routine — every lesson is a match worth winning.
Native voices
From Spanish and Japanese to Arabic, Hindi and Tamil — 42 languages in all, each with native-voice lessons and full spaced-repetition practice.
iPhone & iPad
Full iPad experience with sidebar navigation and focus mode. Same duels, streaks and leagues across iPhone and iPad — your progress syncs seamlessly. Android is on the way.
Learn any language —
starting from your own.
Most apps only teach you from English — if your first language is Romanian, Tamil, Ukrainian or Arabic, you're forced to learn through a language you're still learning. Frayvio is different: the entire interface, every native-voice lesson and the whole Daily Review are translated into 43 languages. Learn in the language you actually think in.
Romanian was our very first native interface — today there are 43, from Romanian and Tamil to Ukrainian and Arabic. No English required as a stepping stone; switch any time from settings, and your streak, leagues and progress come with you.
Pick your battlefield.
Every course is built around the same duel loop — native-voice lessons, speed-scored matches and weekly leagues. Choose a language and see what you'll learn.
Free to start. Pro when you're hooked.
Everything you need to start dueling.
Classrooms, clubs, language exchanges.
Quick clarifications.
Yes. Duels are core to the experience but never required. You can grind solo lessons and still progress through leagues based on XP.
You're matched with someone learning the same language, and you both see the same questions on the same clock. Answer order is reshuffled every match so no one can memorize positions — it comes down to speed and recall. If no human rival is free within a few seconds, a training opponent steps in so you can still play.
Forty-two — from Spanish, French, German and Japanese to Arabic, Hindi, Vietnamese, Thai, Tamil and many more — each with native-voice lessons and real interactive Daily Review. Switch any time; each language keeps its own progress.
Yes — and it's what sets Frayvio apart. The app's interface, lessons and Daily Review are translated into 43 languages (Romanian was the first), so you can learn any of the 42 courses from any of them. A Romanian speaker can learn Dutch, a Tamil speaker can learn Japanese, an Arabic speaker can learn Korean — over 1,700 learning directions, with no English required as a middle step. Most apps only teach from English.
Speech practice records you on your device, then scores your pronunciation against the target phrase with Whisper speech recognition. It runs in the language you're learning, not just English.
Yes. Open Settings → Manage subscription, which takes you to your App Store subscription to cancel. You keep Pro perks until the end of the billing period.
